Goat milk soap is a tradition dating back many years because of its well-documented skin-loving properties. Powdered oatmeal is soothing and mildly exfoliating. Raw honey attracts moisture to the skin. Shea butter is full of nourishing vitamins. This scented soap is a treat for sensitive skin.
I started making these soaps after hearing stories from others about the benefits they'd experienced from buying goat milk and powdered oatmeal soaps at farmer's markets. Other soapmakers shared stories of customers hunting them down at craft shows and begging for more. I researched many suppliers to find the best version of the scent available. The trio of powdered oatmeal, goat milk, and raw honey add many wonderful skin-benefits with a faint smell of their own.
Even though true honeycomb has a hexagonal pattern, the impression of bubble wrap across the top of this handmade soap gives the soap a rustic appearance. Little flecks of powdered oatmeal and spots of raw honey may dot the surface of the soap on some bars.
